The Humanities and Social Sciences department has in the past offered doctoral programs in Humanities and Social Sciences, besides offering elective courses for the undergraduate and postgraduate programs of the Institute.
Beginning with 2006, this department has launched an innovative five-year integrated masters program, Master of Arts (M.A).
Students, upon completion of their class XII, can directly join the IIT to pursue 5 year integrated M.A. Course, after passing the entrance test. |
